How about paint gun balls. I’ve been thinking about a laser with just enough power to etch paint with a targeting system from the cell phone. It wouldn’t need your massive gun turret; just a rotating mirror and a calibrated forward-facing camera, but it is entirely over my head technically.I've been working on a little something extra for the vault of my Cybertruck, an updated defense system that goes with the motif. It will probably take me a couple of months to manufacture all of the parts and assemble. Ultimately, I'd like to motorize a stand for it so that it can raise up out of the vault whenever the tonneau cover is opened. If anyone reading this has expertise in automating small motors please send me a DM as while I can build a stand for the system, I'm not sure how to motorize it. Preferably I'd just plug it into one of the outlets in the bed. At some point I will start testing the system to see what it can fire, initially I'm thinking water cannon, but possibly roman candles or something similar. I thought I'd share some photos of the build process thus far and then come back and update this topic thread from time to time as I make more progress. I started this about a month ago, for a month in I think I've made some decent progress. Enjoy!
OMG, that came out phenomenally well!Some test mounting in the truck. Still a few things to iron out.
Thank you, I'm still doing some tweaks to it, I'm 3D printing some tube end caps for the mounting stand at the moment, trying different patterns to see what I like best. At some point I want to reprint the shields in TPU to help drop the weight a bit and achieve better balance but for now it is good enough to display I think.
