Finally got my Cybertruck delivery.

just wanted to provide a run down what to expect.

ordered September 2021
Configured June 21 2024
Delivered 18 September 2024

AWD Tactical Grey with All Season tires

They said hey it’s here, you can pick up only in 3-5 days. That’s it, No more no less. So have your cash ready to go. Plaid works great day of pickup and my funds were taken out the next day from my bank account.

minimal communication with Tesla beforehand and any questions I had I had to call my local SC because getting questions answered via the app was not working.

Once the 1k deposit went through it’s practically impossible to change it even if you try to get the military discount or a referral discount after. They say there is a work around but you more than likely will lose your current VIN if you have one and be put at the end of the list.

Was worried about body gaps and other things with everything I saw in person previously was my greatest concern.

Day of pickup
Walk in and sign a few times for 5 pages of paperwork. That’s it. No sales tactics or desire to sell more stuff. They ask you if you looked at the CT outside and if you have any questions. If not then you are done. The guy did not even leave his desk. Just told to take my app outside and press setup and everything will initialize and come back if I have questions.

That was quite a shocker with the interaction being so minimal.

Walked to my truck and discovered it being 99% perfect. Slight gap difference in hood from left to right but within tolerance. Everything else was wonderful. CT was clean but a had some gunk on it, but it was also raining that day. No biggie

Everything was included: regular and all weather door mats, tire repair kit, roof screen, 120/240 charger cord and 1172 adapter.

Only had 8 miles on it with a 91% charge so I was very happy.

Congrats. Wasn't that easy? I hope you drive it and enjoy the truck each and every day. Minor issues will come about, but don't forget the fun times before that. Many more are yet to come.

Congrats, she is a beaut!

You got a tire repair kit? I don't remember receiving one of those. I have had mine for several months now, so obviously I looked in all the compartments.

It doesn't matter to me too much since I bought a tire repair kit after I received my Cybertruck.

Congrats and enjoy in good health!

If you don't mind sharing, and if you financed it directly from Tesla, may I ask what your rate was?

Thanks.

I picked mine up a month ago and didn't get a tire repair kit either.

Ironically i got the Tesla tire repair kit 2.0 but it uses 12volt (which the Cybertruck does not even have an outlet for). I already have a 120volt portable air compressor i use so this one will into my spare pile.

I paid cash so no financing but i know they were offering 8.99% financing which is steep.
