I noticed it on mine as well. Not as bad as a drunk teenager but it does now slightly move to the left or the right of the lane occasionally. One time it came pretty close to another car and the line where I had to intervene because I felt too close. Later it did it again but I did not intervene and it corrected itself.

well, only way to be 100% sure is to change your driveway signs to 75mph and see what happens! :ROFLMAO:

Wrong. I put professional 15-mph speed limit signs on my mile-long driveway. The CT reads and reports the private speed limit, despite the fact that it isn’t technically legal and wouldn’t be in a road database.

I’ve had some strange behavior when initiating a lane change too. Sometimes it gets over almost immediately just as I would. Sometimes it puts the blinker on and just keeps driving in the lane it’s in for about 30-40 seconds and then it very slowly, like a turtle , transitions over the the other lane, I can only imagine what anyone around me is thinking when they see this ?‍♂ . Sometimes I ask it to get over, it thinks about it for like 15-20 seconds and then just turns the blinker off without getting over. And all of this happens even when there are no cars in the lane I want to get into. Its baffling.
Same issue for me. It does it randomly. It's very annoying. I try and coax it over mentally lol

I'm not sure about that, but will do some more research. Yesterday, the truck appeared to read a "Minimum 40 MPH" sign as in passing, it set the speed to 40 MPH in a 70 MPH area of a highway. That would seem to contradict your statement they are programmed in only.
Mine does that in Georgia and it used to be really annoying but now it reads as 40 but continues on at 70 ignoring them. Used to be I had to hit the pedal. Now I forget all about it unless I look at the screen and see it reading 40.

Out of curiosity, was there a prevailing wind blowing you toward the lines?

My CT stays does not do what yours did at all, normally, but I have noticed it have trouble staying centered in lateral strong winds.
I just noted the winds pushing it off the road or preventing it from changing lanes.

I just drove through Georgia and it was scary. While driving in 70mph traffic it would see the 40 minimum sign and brake check the vehicle behind me. The same happened when it observed an upcoming construction site with a 55 sign.

That sucks it's doing that for you still, it's been really smooth for me the last couple of months. It was horrible before. Now it just powers on through.

What version of FSD do you have?
the latest public build - 13.2.8

Have been using it back and forth to DC (about 1.5-2.5+ hours each way depending on traffic) a lot lately and I literally do nothing but watch until its time to park. And I use it every day here where I live - there are occasional issues on a very specific road (completely related to speed management) but everything else is awesome tbh. I really don't remember the last time I took over because it made an actual mistake - maybe I'll do it for expediency or someone else is doing something really dumb that I know may confuse FSD to make a situation awkward - but I truly use it daily and will regularly drive for hours at a time.

It doesn’t read signs as of right now. Speed limits are programmed in.
This is demonstrably incorrect. FSD will recognize and obey temporarily erected speed signs at construction zones - signs erected 15 minutes before I arrived.

But it remains true that often FSD will not correctly read speed signs.

Mine doesn’t seem to read them ?‍♂

Also I have a freeway around me under construction and they moved the traffic to near the service road. My truck thinks I’m actually on the service road and drops the speed from 70 to 45 at that part without a sign telling it the limit changed. It’s definitely programmed in, maybe in addition to sometimes reading signs.

I just got 2025.14.3.1. Worrysome behavior. Had to disengage because:

- Drove down the wrong lane on a road with a yellow line.
- Strattled a yellow line.

Filed reports each time.

FSD works well 99% of the time, 1% pure terror.

1) CT conformity to staying in the lane is proportional to speed. It works great at 45 mph, but by 75 mph it is poor. It runs me off the road once a mile at these speeds, either to the left or the right.

2) Conformity to speed limit signs is random. Sometimes is blows through a 35 mph sign at 70, at others it speeds up to 50+ while in a 25 mph zone. I keep maximum speed set to +/- 0 mph.

3) The map database (evidently from TomTom) has numerous blatant errors. Twice now I have been thrown off a freeway and led to drive circles on dirt roads for miles, only to return to the freeway 1/2 mile from where I started. Surely TomTom knows where freeways are? This is quite entertaining, fwiw.
