They're backwards.
California is such a nanny state. The legislature has made sure none of their citizens can be gored by Texas Longhorns bolted to a truck.... See paragraph (c) below...

CALIFORNIA VEHICLE CODE - VEH

DIVISION 12. EQUIPMENT OF VEHICLES [24000-28160

CHAPTER 5. Other Equipment [27000 - 28160)

ARTICLE 5. Fenders, Ornaments, and Television [27600 - 28160]

27608
(a) This section applies to vehicles with ornamental Texas Longhorn horns (ornamental long horns), regardless of the type, either natural or artificial, installed on the exterior of any vehicle.
(b) Ornamental long horns shall only be installed on the upper surface of the vehicle, in front of the vehicle windshield and positioned so no part of the ornamental long horns is less than fourteen (14) inches behind the front of the front bumper, as measured from a plane extending vertically from and normal to the road surface and touching the front surface of the front bumper of the vehicle. No part of the ornament long horns shall extend beyond the sides of the vehicle.
(C) The installed position of the ornamental long horns shall ensure that the distal ends of the horns are directed at the rear of the vehicle, irrespective of the natural direction of horns found on living Texas Longhorn cattle.

(Added by Stats. 1986, Ch. 759, Sec. 2.)

Maybe but there’s gotta be a reason for that law.

Some pedestrian (who was important or otherwise connected) definitely got a horn up the ass while in a crosswalk one time somewhere in Cali….

Greetings from South Beach. I opted for something a little more stealthy in the frunk. Anyone else have a rattling noise in their frunk?

There is no way that exists. Did Boss Hog drive off the lot too much in the 80's? Good thing my 84 Escort Wagon with horns didn't enact MO legislature in the 90's. LMAO.
