Hi, I am new here and hope I can find some help here. I took delivery of my cybertruck about 3 months ago and noticed my GPS drifts regularly. It would drive along the designated route fine but several times throughout the journey, it would slowly drift off to the side about 50 feet and eventually thinking I am on a side road from the one I am traveling. It then gives a bunch of directions to head back to the road that I am on. It happens several times in the journey and I have recorded several videos and submitted to Tesla. I took my car in for service and they say they cannot duplicate the problem. They also thought it was contributed from the State Farm Transponder that I am using to track my driving. I removed both the phone connection and the transponder from the truck but the problems persist. Has anyone seen this problem and have a fix? I brought it back to Tesla twice and they keep telling me they can't find anything wrong. Much appreciate it.

I've had this happen occasionally, but haven't seen it recently, including a 900 mile trip last weekend, using the nav system the whole time.

When it did occur it only happened once or twice per hour. I also took videos and photos, planning to take it in for service, but then it stopped happening, perhaps because of a software update. My truck is on v12 (2024.26.11)

This happened to me a few times as well. Once during a long road trip, requiring me to use my phone instead.

it stopped doing it eventually, and has not come back since. I assume it’s a software bug.

It has something to do with sentry mode. Turn sentry mode off. Leave the cybertruck for 10 minutes. The problem should go away. You can then turn sentry mode back on.

Thank you wtibbit. I checked my software version and it is V12 (2024.26.11) and I tried the suggestions by the members here. At first, it appeared to have fixed the problem but after getting out of the truck after a decent GPS drive, the problem started again. I guess I will try to play with the sentry mode everytime I exit the truck to see if it consistently helps with the problem. Thank you and I think I will have to take it back to service, for the third time.....

Thank you darcon for the suggestion. I turned the sentry mode off, left the car and it appeared to have fixed the problem for that drive. When I exited the truck the problems appeared again. I will try to do this a few times to see if it's consistent. I think it's time to take it back to service again. Thank you for the help!
