So woke up to no cameras, CT thinks I'm always at home, and no camera based tasks! The night before I had a weird ride adjustment error that I fixed with help here in the forums. I have a service appointment next week but man it sucks having no cameras and having to adjust to this. The turn signal won't turn off switching lanes due to no cameras. My wipers won't turn on automatically. No autopilot and no navigation because it thinks I'm still at home. Service center says my wheel sensor isn't responding on front right. I check the plug and it seems fine. Anyone think a defective wheel speed sensor could shut down all these functions or had the same issue?

Did you check service codes in the history for some more insight as to what might be going on? Seems more than a wheel sensor to me but then again, I am no SC tech.

Yeah, the common adaptive ride control error the night before. The cameras worked with that error and GPS. That's so I have on my end. The SC said they ran remote diagnostics and the wheel speed sensor was showing an error. The service rep said the sensor could cause these issue..?‍♂

The DeLorean uses diodes in the harness to reduce wiring. That's great, except for when the diodes start leaking, resulting in stray current paths e.g., honk the horn and the wipers start, etc.

The Cybertruck uses next-gen, 21st-century wiring, managed by the many controllers around the vehicle, but can have similar issues like you described above. When a controller is impaired or faulty, you can experience failures of unrelated components, with odd effects.

Sounds right. I was hoping for less dependencies in this design... Drivetrain failure from an interior light issue. Lol

I might order some wheel speed sensors for each wheel now that we can order direct so I don't have to wait for a sc appointment. ?

If you're right any flaw in the entire system for monitoring speed will shut down all other monitoring systems... Sounds like a software revision is needed. I really could use my backup camera at a minimum...
