I think you left out the most important details! You didn't say where you got the lights. Are you going to let us assume that this is made by tesla. If they are not a genuine Tesa part, I think you should tell us where we can get the lights If there are more available and how much did you pay for them. Or did your truck come like that because it's a new option?

Kinda small…

is it at all practical?
It looks like it is twice the size of a parking lot stripe so that is a decent size

So do they mount inside the door panel or on the outside. is there a predetermined location or hole. Or does the door panel need to be modified. I assume that the unit is small, and tube shaped like a small flashlight or laser pointer. and would need a round hole to mount and run the wires from inside the door. am I right?

Just put mine in and they look great. It’s a sharper bright white light. Well worth it.

Just ordered mines today. $75.00 bucks for 2. Easy to install based on instructions provided, pop out with screw driver, un-snap cable, snap on cable to new ones and insert back into door. Whallah which means ”what i found out” lol Movie quote from Ready Player One lol

Right on the bottom of the door where the original puddle lights are. You just push in the clip, pull the old light out, unclip the connector, connect the new one, snap it into the hole. (it's a rectangular hole). It takes like 1 minute per light.

For those that are wanting the lights in CyberTruck Graffiti

Puddle lights graffiti
Thank you sir been waiting for this since abstract ocean pulled theirs from the store. I’m sorry they didn’t get it worked out first but the ship has sailed. I got four of these and four of the OEM ones. Graffiti on the front door; silhouettes on the back.

Plus spares.
