I love how she looks right into the camera and Smiles! I am glad idiots think this is a game. I bet the pepper spray will take that smile off her face.

Wonder who will be the first of these morons needing a trip to the dentist? You know it's going to happen soon.

Even a setting to flash the lights sooner, if they think someone is coming to lock or unlock the truck, they would leave. I’ve got tons of video or people looking at the truck, in actual interest, then it flashes the lights and they run away in embarrassment.

100% agree these guys are idiots but I'm fairly positive you can't just go around pepper spraying people for what amounts to ...probably a petty grievance. They smudged it.

Even if they vandalized your car and you came out to confront them you would have to prove in court that you actually felt fear for your safety or that it was proportionate....in a state that is likely more liberal in the first place if we are honest just based on the reports of these incidents.

You could find yourself in some real legal/financial trouble trying to retaliate disproportionately. Actually... that's probably the big question here, retaliation vs self defense.

I carry every day (in a state where I get no hate at all), and some of the comments i've been reading lately of tough guys thinking they can dump a magazine into vandals has been interesting.

Obviously you can respond to a life threat but you also have to convince what could be a jury of liberals who don't see it that way.

100% agree that you need proportional response…if they key a nazi symbol and get aggressive with you as you confront them…can justify more aggressive response vs some dumb adult kid that finger paints.

I'd pay to have someone figure out who they were. Then show them that I have them on camera by letting authorities know, their boss/company if they work, and that I know pertinent details about their life. That should be enough to maybe encourage them to think about not continuing their stupid game of FAFO.

Unfortunately but true, your life needs to be in peril or shot first before you can shoot back and then you got to convince the jury of it. I don't think Pepper spray is Not classified as deadly force but I am sure they could sue you for something. If they physically damaged the truck I would spray and call the police Lol. Come on have some humor here!

Since Teslas are being literally firebomb, there is already a reasonable assumption that anyone tampering with your vehicle is already more than suspect.

Spray away, gents. These people need to learn lessons that their parents failed to teach them.

You can file a police report and petition the court to have the phone records pulled for that date/time and location. Nearly 100% chance both of them had their cellphones on them.

It won't be long before you can submit a photo to an AI system/app that will run it through the data and identify these dummies. I'm pretty sure it's done routinely via law enforcement. Sooner or later us little guys will likely be able too as well. That to me will be the time some of these peeps that think they are anonymous, etc., can get away with it. Not for long buddy. That is why you see some of the more blatant perps with masks on. That still doesn't throw up a red flag in many parts of the country. My local grocery store has many still in masks and looking in fear. Some may actually require these, but I'm guessing most actually don't. The Tesla FAFO perps do not.

yeah that is a good idea. They will think someone is around and leave. Unless they are a full on crazy. These seem to just be general idiots.

I know….BUT…I’ve had about enough of this crap!
I WANT THESE PERPETRATORS GOING TO JAIL!

THIS IS LEGAL CARRY IN ALL 50 STATES!

https://byrna.com/products/le-kit

…fits nicely in CyberTruck center console! ?
I think it could be seen as a liability as crazy as that sounds if more people were confronting vandals live....unfortunately
