The first people you hire are going to have to train the next employees. So you want them to have as much grasp on the underlying mechanics to fill those rolls as the system ramps up.

Assuming you want a system which expands exponentially vs a system which starts and ends at the same level and makes the employees dependent upon the company.

Thanks. I am a pretty crappy employer/ manager, so I appreciate that breakdown. Good perspective.

"Influence design engineers and production associates with recommendations to incorporate alternate vehicle design features or assembly techniques that enhance the manufacturability of the product."

^This is Teslas secret sauce.^
At most auto companies you do this and they tell you to "Stay in your lane."
There would be no communication between these separate teams.
At Tesla it is a requirement.

I guess they have already hired the Marine Engineer lol
They didn't need to hire, they already had one for a long time.

Name is Musk.

Rocket scientist Engineer / Automotive Engineer / Space or Land or Marine Engineer / Admiral / Techno King Elon Musk.

And he only drinks martinis from a shaken, not stirred, vacuum sealed 30x cold-rolled stainless steel thermos.

The appropriately trained AI is a great teacher. Like for instance, Rocksmith is an infinitely patient teacher. It can listen to you play that song indefinitely and mark your notes as you practice. And it always has an encouraging word!

But I don't think they have plans for Optimus that way yet. Let's get it to carrying boxes and watering plants first.

I just think "BIW" posting is interesting.

It isn't body production, it isn't press operations, they have that..

BIW is when the body is landed on the presses and doors/ hathes are mounted.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ IDK. Just thought I'd share my speculation.

So'kay. It's what my spouse develops professionally (virtual worlds, not this specific game), so she has me as tech support and guinea pig 'cause I do like games. It can be nice to step into a world where things just work, which is why I like games.

That Sounds fun.
