This is definitely a step up from a middle finger salute.
I have neither the understanding nor the patience to deal with people who would deface someone’s vehicle for (possibly) political reasons, or jealousy. A whole host of reasons I’m sure. Tomato sauce would have been better.

this gives me "intentional" vibes... vandals are not likely going to be so thoughtful as to NOT get spray paint on the glass or the plastic trim bits... its just to perfectly placed...

You make a very good point. I noticed glass was clean but missed the perfect avoidance of the rubber. This confirms in my mind this is a set up to get clicks. Or maybe there is an insurance claim scam? Whatever it is, it's suspicious.

I see nothing wrong with that-the owner (or someone else) spray painted only the stainless steel so there really is no lasting damage. This "benefit" will allow owners to customize their vehicles in a whole new way.
