My general rule is if I can get to it in a day or less of driving I will drive. That said, I am generally done after 16hrs in the car.

I am retired and I did a 3 day, 1,853 miles trip from Orlando to Denver and back. Took advantage of the free Supercharging. I used the time to listen to audio books, catch up on calls, and just relax and reflect. Since there were 3 of us on the trip, I also saved $1,500 in airline fares and another $400+ in airport parking fees. I did have to pay for 2 hotel nights each way, but traded points for all but one. If you have the time to make the drive, do it. Other than the crazy drivers in the big cites we had to pass through (Atlanta, Nashville, St. Louis, and Kansas City) the trip was easy.
My thoughts exactly. The ultimate retired traveler vehicle. Road tripped Washington state, Boca Chica, TX, to Sarasota. 5100 miles. Slept in my pickup most nights - gone for 7 days. Only hotel for shower midway. Perfect road trip. Minimal FSD interventions, none for serious error. Not sure what I'm goig to do with all my Delta miles.

For me, it's about losing vehicle value. I drove my Model 3 across the country 8 times or so, sold it with over 120K miles on the ODO. I want to do the same with my Cybertruck, but I'm worried about running down the warranty too fast, in case I have any problems.

Anywho. FSD did 99% of my driving the last few trips. I took over in parking lots and backed it into the stalls. It did the rest. One we have the option for high speed wifi charging pads to be install in our trucks, I think we'll be napping while they drive all night. (may be 2 or 3 hours of wireless charing per stop, but hey, we're sleeping, who cares)
Same with my 5,100 mile road trip. Was shocked how much more relaxing sitting with my hands in my lap listening to Audible books vs having to keep hands on wheel. Only pickle the autopilot off a handfull of times for taking too long to get out of the passing lane. Ventillated seats also a game changer.
