Hey all,
Consumed a few threads last night and didn't see one that matched, although others did report similar symptoms with a bad harness among others.
My Cybertruck just 220 miles in wouldn't start and had to be brought in for service. Luckily I was in my driveway when it happened/ stuck in crawl mode 4mph. Had it towed then after a bit of back and forth, Tesla support just told me that the diagnostic specialist completed inspection and traced the issue to the body controllers, apparently there's an internal fault that's preventing the system from engaging drive. They're waiting on a part to arrive before repairs can proceed.
I also saw these alerts on the screen before it went in (see image):
Multiple steeringDegradedByVehicle alerts
activeRampingZero
rearSteerDegraded
underVoltageSeriesFailure
UVUnhealthy
TW LOCKED, SPEED LIMITED, ALERTS TO CHECK: 9
Wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar issue? How long did it take to get resolved? Was it also a body controller issue, or something else?
Appreciate any insight, hoping this isn’t a common failure point.
Thanks!
