Noticing that I am developing stains on my color change ppf from TSportline. Cybertruck is parked outside but near trees so if it rains and a leaf falls on it I’m getting these stains which appear to be coming from oak trees nearby. Shouldn’t color change ppf be more resilient to this? It’s wrapped with TSportline satin crystal white color change ppf as I went with ppf vs vinyl because I do park it outside. Anyone else experienced this with color change ppf? I’ve reached out to them for advise and help but wanted to see if others have seen similar staining on white ppf?

Yep, pretty common. Should come right off with Sprayway or basically any cleaner, but white shows everything that happens to it.

Sprayway general purpose cleaner?

I buy this stuff in bulk off Amazon and it works well. Should clean you right up. The PPF is very likely not damaged, it’s just that white is one of the harder colors to care for if you want it to be spotless.

Really? Surprising. Might have to go with bar keepers friend then. That tree did a number on you.

Yeah those are ugly stains. If bar keepers friend does not clean it up. Try a PPF polish. When preparing my M3 for sale with a clear PPF wrap over black paint which became dull after 6 years. A polish from Chemical Guys brought back the high gloss shine and removed all the stains.
Good Luck.

I have matte white vinyl with the same problem. I keep it ridiculously clean but it still stains. The only thing that has worked for me is lightly using a magic eraser. After I get the spot clean, I go over the entire panel to make the finish uniform since the eraser wants to go through the vinyl and make it shiny. I know the magic eraser is the nuclear option but I'll just rewrap when the finish gets bad.

Leaf tannins are tough, requires abrasives. Ceramic coat may help.
