Didn’t know this existed! I’ve been lucky enough to own 3 LC’s. 2 diesel’s, one I drove to central America and back.
They say a Land Rover will get you anywhere. A Land Cruiser will get you anywhere and back home ?.

I have an FJ40, 1976, 2F, original paint. This museum is insane with all the generations of the LC. Tons of Australian and Japanese rare ones. I had been intending to go there for at least the last 10 years and so glad I did. It's owned by the Larry Miller dealership family, who truly have a deep affection for the Land Cruiser.

Packing up for a camping trip tomorrow.
Also added a “kennel” area to our Cybertruck for the new puppy, Pickles.
I do have to take the base of the rear-facing seat out and lift the truck seat to get it to go in and out, but the fit is just about perfect once it’s in there. There was a whole ordeal changing the order of the seats to make that work because the split is the two drivers side seats together and the passenger side seat by itself. Previously our rear-facing seat was behind the driver. It’s too damn hot in Arizona for this type of foolishness so I put up the tailgate umbrella and pointed a swamp cooler at myself.
No cybertent this time. Not with a tiny puppy who isn’t “tent broken”’yet. We’re sticking with the Coody Koala 7 ground tent.
Going to be an absolute blast. Kids are very excited and actually so am I.

The grime looks more like mine grime than farm grime but the distance is too flat to tell.

This thread has some great info.
I have both the wide one you see above (fits sideways across the bed) and the cantilever one suggested by Sandman. Like them both for different uses. The one you see there is easier to pack with a bunch of stuff but the cantilever has the advantage of being able to set up a table in various positions to the side of the truck.

Last week I drove mine from southern Ontario, across the Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota, and then up to Manitoba, to my cottage there. 2300 km or 1400 miles in total. Took some pics featuring the prairie skies, lake superior, and so on, at my stops. Mostly I wanted to show you guys my new wheels though ? Vossen HFX-1's

Took our dogs to a dock diving competition a couple of months ago. It was great hanging out in the bed between jumps. It's such a small thing but so awesome being able to use the truck in all different kinds of ways.
