Yes it is. When there is no phone connected, there is no power consumption - that's how Qi works - it sends a very high frequency ping to see if there is a device, and if there is none it doesn't charge. The ping itself consumes so little energy that a watch battery can power it for years.Is this safe to use on the cybertruck?
