I’m supposed to take delivery today of a CB but received at text last night saying they had to cancel my delivery due to a service requirement. Should I be concerned? What service requirements are there currently? Seems we should be past the pedal and wiper motor issues. Tactical grey vin 24847

I wouldn't be concerned. Things happen.
Sorry for the letdown. It will come!

Funny you say that. I just dropped off my Beast for minor cosmetic issues (Tuesday), from when I took delivery. I was originally told the same day, then they said they needed another day, then it wasn't touched on Wednesday, now they are saying Friday by 1745. I was actually wondering if another service bulletin came out and that's why it's sitting there. They replaced the windshield, and told me they had all the parts for my repairs.

Obviously, not a lot of comms chatter from Tesla, but we'll see. Sorry that happened to you. Fwiw, my delivery was rescheduled 3 times before I took delivery.

The interesting thing is that they actually texted me earlier this week asking if I wanted to pick it up a day earlier

Yeah, I have noticed the left hand rarely talks to the right hand at Tesla. Good luck

They texted me the same thing. When I said yes and called the SC they said it was an automated text and they didn’t have any spots in delivery schedule. There were two other cybertrucks there in delivery lot yesterday. I left some stuff in the glovebox of my model Y I traded in. Went back to get it and it had been moved to their “other” lot. I had to drive over to get it. It was an old JC Penney parking lot filled with Teslas. At least 10 cybertrucks over there. A big car hauling rig over there too. I guess that’s where they receive the vehicles. The cybertrucks I looked at all had build dates of 7/24 to 7/29. Did see a VIN in the 26,000 range.

They don't pick the vehicles up out of the inbound lot until they are ready to be delivered. They got yours and saw an issue. Them remediating it now is better than having to bring it back after you get home, or maybe not even getting home.
They tried, just couldn't do it. And its real people, they haven't been replaced by robots yet.

Thanks for build date information
