In the video they point out a forward facing radar, does the CT have radar? I thought Tesla went vision only on their vehicles during COVID?

The S/X have radar, but it's not used with FSD.

The CT was released after they decided to go full Tesla Vision. Is this their insurance plan if Tesla Vision is not enough to do the job? It would be nice if the CT came with the hardware to achieve unsupervised FSD without a retrofit.

I remember Elon talking about how impressive radar was and how it could see multiple cars ahead. This was before he changed his mind.

Same with the S/X. If you buy an S/X today, it has radar. They actually received a new improved radar with HW4, but according to green, it's not being used.

The speculation is that if they decide it's necessary, they will turn it on. It's not in the 3/Y.
