Yup I use it for cleaning my roof and windshield. Works well and easy to setup. There are many different types, I would use a metal one that folds up as small as possible.

Any links to one you have used for the CT (I do see the one link above)? I had no idea they made these things!
But also ... I guess ok to try to hand wash the CT upper roof with one of those - but I myself don't have the doors open when I am fully washing the CT :)

You want to be really careful with some of these as any lateral push and it might twist off and cause some harm. In a hurry these might work, but if you have the option, use a small ladder.

I like REI as they have an incredible return policy.

I use this door step to clean the upper windshield and to access the top. It folds into itself for easy storage and in low-light conditions the orange color makes it easy to locate.

I don't use any steps or platforms to wash the roof and windshield, I just use a long-handled truck brush and a bucket of soapy water. Quick and easy and excellent results. Here's a good one:

Soft Tri Level Brush - 10"

Attach to your favorite aluminum handle and be amazed at how quick and easy washing your Cybertruck becomes.

I do the exact same thing with respect to washing. I was just thinking it might be useful for roof rack use.
I got to thinking about it because there was a cool thread about cybertruckco’s sport rack. In that case or similar one could get to it from the bed (if it’s empty which might not always be the case) but if someone had a full rack like the urander or the camper setup, access to the top would be a little harder.
These type of steps seem much smaller than keeping a ladder.

Roof racks are sub-optimal for other reasons, so I avoid them if at all possible. But if you need a rack for long lumber, pipes or ladders, then, yes, like any other truck you either load it from the rear or in the bed or you use a step ladder to secure things. The Cybertruck actually has an advantage here over a traditional pickup because it can be lowered to the bump stops to make things easier.
