Just my two cents: I've noticed Dylink mentioned here a few times and wanted to share my experience. Unfortunately, I can't recommend their product. I'm unsure if I received a defective unit, but it's been a major hassle.

After navigating to their URL in the Tesla browser (where it runs), you would expect it to start automatically, but it doesn't. Instead, it lingers on the settings page for 5-7 minutes before randomly starting. I initially thought it might just need an upgrade, but to do that, you have to use a mobile hotspot. While they offer settings for hotspot configuration, they don't actually work. You can enter your credentials, but there's no way to connect to the hotspot, which means you can't complete the upgrade. Additionally, there's no option to connect via WiFi.

Once it finally connects, the product works well, but for nearly $200, I expect it to function seamlessly and start automatically. I understand the need to go through the browser, and I'm okay with that, but waiting for it to start randomly is frustrating.

I also have the Dylnk unit. I find the problem to be the CT doesn’t keep WiFi on after you turn it on the first time. So you have to wait for it to connect automatically every time you get into the truck. Or you can turn on WiFi, connect to the unit and then go to your browser to start up CarPlay. I go through this every morning it drives me nuts but I see it more as a problem with the truck since it doesn’t keep WiFi on.
