@RayzorBEV what is that system you used? Is it compatible with the CTBeast?
I'm not really sure. On Hannsshow's web it's states Model 3/Y...I think to make it work w Cyberbeast, it will need new software and a harness connector of sort

This can be a good solution for running ON-X off-road mapping

yes for sure, we tested a few of these off-road and hunting GPS for customers that asked. Works!

It's way too low. Please put it front and center of the driver with a mount that allow air to flow through, must also function as a driver's display, and I'll buy one ASAP :geek:
For example, attached pic is an Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible HD touch screen installed in my 2024 Model 3P that has a special mount that allows air from the HVAC to pass through. It also comes with a HD front bumper mounted camera. Super dope(y)

Why so many screens and no thermal camera setup?
You know to avoid all them jolly jumpers. ;-)

BTW with your rear-view mirror screen on your M3P, did you have to run power up there to run it or was there some power up there already?

The other way to do it is to get a Android device and run a USB C extension plug to the outside to plug in a Infiray P2 Pro thermal camera (runs at 25hz) you can get from Amazon for $250. Note it can't see through normal glass and needs Germanium lens cover for outside to protect it from bugs and rain etc.

Good thing with thermal camera is that you can spot wildlife at 1000ft without highbeams on and blinding oncoming traffic, and you can even see through fog etc much better too.

I had night visions on my 2023 Jeep. It was fun and interesting at first, then it just got old fast. Yes, there is power up there already because of the factory self dimming mirror

Without wanting to sound pedantic, was it night vision or thermal (FLIR)? Because thermal really helps long range detection of people and wildlife, especially kangaroos around here. Anything warm blooded.

You are right. Jeep calls it Night Vision. It's definitely not Thermal imaging which is awesome.
