Very happy with my volt and also thank you for for your tax contribution that paid $9,000 towards my car. When I first got it, my commute was under 20 miles per day and only needed gas once or twice a year.

The dual will not qualify for tax credits, $40K max for any credit. Surely you have been following that story. The sad story on the tax credits is that the administration was hoodwinked into thinking they were doing the 'common man' a favor in restricting credits to vehicles costing $40K or less (that or they are more beholding to big oil and big auto than I can to believe). If they actually knew what they were talking about they'd have known that only the undesirable electric cars are in that price range and that that isn't going to further the cause at all. And no electric trucks or SUVs.

This keeps coming up and @crissakeeps reminding whoever posts that the only thing that matters is your reservation number, and that you can change your trim or your mind at any time. As far as 'I' am concerned it is cutting in line but if that is the way it is set up then so be it.

That cuts out almost all EVs (all trucks) and creates a really bad cut-off point where there will be a $20k gulf of prices.

It's unlikely to make it through reconcilliation.
