Feature request: auto-presenting door

As long as I can disable it, I frequently walk my my teslas, taking out the garbage, check the mail, just put flipping off the neighbors etc. I don’t want it to open up as I walk by.

On the Model X you could disable at home.

Yeah, that was I was thinking about. The same mechanism that happens when you press the button.

You can already open the doors remotely via the app. It wouldn't be a stretch to have it open upon approach.

I realized that the lights on the door opening buttons light up when I get close to the truck, so there is no technical limitation about the self-presenting door like on the Model X. Dear Tesla, can I haz it please?

If you use the Telsa app to open one or more doors and then nobody opens the door fully in a few minutes, the CT pulls the door in again and locks it. The door is not fully closed by is securely closed.
