Yup. It’s the off gassing from the materials inside the car settling on the windshield. I had to clean the interior of the windshield once a week for months and now it’s finally settling down. It’s a known hassle we all have. A pain but at least it’s not a permanent thing.
For me, sprayway (no ammonia formula), microfiber cloths, and a swiffer mop was the easiest solution since it’s such a big windshield.
Yeah. I am battling it too. I hope it goes away soon. I figured it was out gassing due to it being new. I picked up one of these microfiber mops from HD. They are the perfect length and fits under the back seat for storage.
The glues that Tesla used on this truck are next level. I can literally taste the off gassing when driving it.
I have found good luck with a little dish soap on a cloth and then a microfiber to buff. The dish soap won’t smear the film like glass cleaner will, you’ll really notice the difference.
