Not sure how many gun people drive a CT but I'll be one of the few and am trying to figure out ideal placement for a long-gun mount. Considering the roof is glass I was curious what others are considering as roof mount isn't practical.

A front seat mount or behind the seat mount are obvious first choices but considering the flat floorboards and under seat (front or back) may work well. I'm aware of all the typical truck gun options today, I want to consider applications specific to the unique interior of the CT.

Open to your ideas or plans for long gun mounting!
Imagine these bad boys with the Tonneau covers down...

Magnet under dash for pistol. I was hoping to put rack in back window like I have now. Can't see out window now, so two gun rack won't block view.

Sadly, nothing special for this use case. Typical locations.

The bed storage would make a good location for a gun safe.

Find me something else that's Constitutionally guaranteed that needs this many disclaimers
Whenever someone invents a Time Machine, I’ll go back to the framers and ask them to clarify the 2A in explicit detail that a 5 year old could understand.

Well, whatever you do... make sure they don't take it out. I think it's pretty clear tbh.

A soft 2 long gun bag fits perfectly under all three rear seats.

In another thread several CT owners are discussing storing their long guns in the frunk. There is at least one vendor selling a molle panel that fits on the frunk lid. I would think these panels or even just a case, also placed in the frunk would work for most rifles, (unless you need them accessible from the cabin?). Secure and out of sight. The only other spot I would consider is under the rear seat.

Obviously, a center console lockbox for a pistol. Secure and still easily accessible with the biometric lock.

My 1911 is simply in that compartment on the left of the driver's side covered by small towel
with my water or Coke bottle on top.

When going to Cali, it goes to glove compartment and mags on middle console. Have not tested if compliant with the CT glovebox not lockable.
