Vera safety makes a cool pistol lock. I have been trying to figure out where to mount this. They make mounts for long guns too. Might be a good option @ddives

Cool. I don’t have a rifle one yet , but considering for under rear seats of truck.

The fingerprint unlock works quickly and consistently. For something mechanical that is more of a deterrence for curiosity. I like the stopbox chamber locks. Quick to remove and kids can’t figure it out. They have good sales periodically.

I ended up placing my rifle in the underseat storage which is blend of convenient but not to easy access.

I don’t like frunk, I need access within the safety of stainless steel. Plus constantly flashing my guns when loading groceries is not my style.
