The problem with this is forcing centering means not allowing this to be end to end control. The AI has to be free to put the car wherever it wants or you'll hit debris that's in the tire tracks when centered. Problem is the AI still has some learning to go on vehicles like the CT. 3/Y are pretty damn solid, and my X was basically as good as my wifes Y. But my CT, wow it goes from excellent to crappy in seconds. I think they are forced to limit training data for CT due to the vehicle size so that they don't hit things but we're a little behind as a result.Argh!!! I am sure this is a dumb question, but if it sees the lines, can’t it be trained to stay in the middle or at least between them? I understand it is no longer rules based, but if they need a video of staying in the lane passing a semi, I can do that!
this is a worry. Seems like a little focus could fix this. 3rd update with this issue!!
This is just my opinion of course, but a educated one.
