YES! Welcome! There is a learning curve for sure including not braking. The regenerative breaking charges the batteries on your excursions. You will use the brakes hardly ever after a bit. Besides being a proud new Daddy, you are also an Ambassador to the electric world, anyone ogling at you, and even and especially your fellow Cybertruckers! Be safe and have a blast with the overall most fun vehicle there is! Congrats again!

Hi everyone - registered here a few days ago and took delivery of my new '25 Beast yesterday!

Now that I'm officially part of the brotherhood, I wanted to intro myself and formally hop into the forums.

I'm brand new to the Cybertruck, but not a stranger to the Tesla ecosystem at all, as we're slowly swapping out our ICE vehicles for electric and the CT joins a Model S and a Model Y to make a stable of 3!

Here's me taking delivery:

Special shoutout to my good friend @misdemeanor as he has helped me along the "Cybertruck path" and was with me yesterday when I took delivery! We both tried out a few Beast Mode launches (with less than 20 miles on the odometer) and it was an absolute hoot. The truck really rips and it's hard to believe just how fast it is.

Here we are after bleeding off 15% of the battery doing launches and going less than 3 miles... LOL

Drive it like you stole it!

In all seriousness - looking forward to participating and really do appreciate all the information shared here - it's a treasure trove.
Welcome and it's nice to meet you! You will learn very quickly that most of the crazy negative things you have seen in the news are made to get people to feel a specific way about the Cybertruck. I can tell you as an actual owner that this truck is amazing. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. Take care and have fun!

Welcome in! Be careful which “deals” you take part of from some of the vendors, but otherwise enjoy!
Thanks for the heads up... are there any vendors to stay away from or situations where I should really keep an eye out (based on past experience)?

Thank you! This is my 3rd Tesla so I'm good on how it all (regen, etc.) works and will really enjoy the features and functionality the truck will provide! Being an ambassador doesn't come cheap, but it defintiely is the right thing to do for the future of the planet... that I'm convinced of.

Oh yes, I came to the realization that certain people will hate on it, others will love it and it will be devisive, but I'm OK with that... it's not for everybody and that's fine. I bought it for the right reasons and I have high expectations and for all that - I'm good with it!

Welcome! You'll love driving it.
Thank you!

Just watch what and how they post. A LOT of fly-by-night AI-driven shops pushing the same things.

The overwhelming majority of vendors are FANTASTIC - but some of them have literally blocked myself and others for calling out their shady practices - I won’t name them, but it’s pretty easy to figure out if you take care!

Welcome to the club, my advice is only keep it low when racing, medium height for everything else. Save you from loosing mud flaps in the drive through if you happen to drive over a tight unseen curb.

Competent drivers don't drive over "unseen" curbs in a drive-through. This is just a weird comment.

That said, I've never driven a full-sized pickup that is as easy to thread through the tightest drive-through. The rear wheels don't have the same tendency to drag to the inside curb when at full steering lock, like it can on a traditional truck. If you are driving over the curb in a drive-through in a Cybertruck, you are displaying a gross lack of awareness of your surroundings. It's dead easy with the four wheel steering and the natural quickness of steer-by-wire.
