I was surprised to find out that my CT’s software doesn’t recognize some of the Unicode fonts I use for certain music files. Does anyone know of an official way we can open a ticket or a bug to request such issues to be fixed in the future versions of the software?

Here are some examples on what the file names look like on my phone and how the CT software doesn’t recognize the font rendering the file names with squares.

You didn't mention what fonts that you are using, but are they in the list of supported languages for the vehicle?
Standardized fonts is a huge issue and you can't expect all fonts to work on all devices.
Do the fonts render correctly on a US-English PC?

That’s the whole point of Unicode, it provides mapping for 149k characters. For a Tesla to miss this is very surprising. The font is the standard Armenian language font that is shipped with windows, not some customized crazy new thing. As you can see from my screenshot my phone has no issue with it, in fact I have never seen this on any other device and I use these music files in pretty much every type of computer, phone, tablet, other vehicle’s’ infotainment systems, music interfaces of all kind for TV and sound systems, you name it.

And to answer your question, yes they do render perfectly fine on computers, Windows and Mac alike. In fact I’ve edited the file on a windows OS back in 2000s to change the font and have been using them ever since with no issue until now.

I believe that my first statement is true. Tesla doesn't appear to support Armenia/Armenian at this time.

No, that’s not true, because all of the .am websites I have opened on the browser work just fine.

Obviously the operating system can and does support the font, but the media player does not. My guess is the media player is not using Unicode for some reason.

Anyway, my question was does anyone know how to open a bug or submit a ticket for consideration to fix this in the future releases?

No way to report except maybe a tweet to Elon.

It's probably going to be really low on the fix list though. So if you want to use the music, it may be time to rename.
