So after the email a couple of weeks ago - stating that its 'my turn' - the appointment was made to install the light bar (scheduled for the 21st)

I just sadly got the following delay message. Hoping its better in the long run though......

Has anyone else get this about their light bar recently??

Aside from the cool functions the OEM bar has, I wouldn’t want it personally - gluing it to the truck was never a good idea. They really should have gone the more traditional route and put it on with rack mounts like the other options on the market.

That sucks, hopefully you at least have free supercharging.

I am also affected by this temporary hold on the lightbar installation. I just spoke with my Tesla SC manager and he claims that this is happening due to "bad install techniques". Therefore, the lightbar V3 that will be release soon, has been reengineered to include a small metal bracket on each side that attaches to the lightbar to prevent it from flying off even if the adhesive failed due to poor installation technique.
My other FS Beast's factory lightbar V2 was properly installed a few months ago and it feels solid with zero issues. I have driven it at triple digit speed, under high winds gust, torrential down pour, freezing temp, etc. Poor installation techniques is the real culprit in most of these mishaps, hopefully, the metal bracket will fix it once and for all.

Follow-up: Everyone will be relieved to hear that Tesla service is stepping up to fix TheTeslaHoe's lightbar problem:
