Surprisingly got my email notifying me i could place a Foundation series Cybertruck order even though I placed my order 9 months after unveiling.

Guess they are gauging interest?

I decided to pull the trigger on getting the dual motor Foundation series. I know the 20k extra cost is large but I figure since it covers the following its worth it:

The only thing i have observed differently from other Foundation series offers is that i was able to get the Extended battery for $500 (which pushed my order 2 months to the right into September)

I figure with the credit for the Powershare, FSD, Universal wall Connector and getting the Extended Battery for $500 its worth it for the foundation series since i would more than likely get those anyways.

I did choose the All Season Tires over the All Terrains tires though since i will rarely go true offroading and most offroading ill do is in camping/fishing spots while towing a boat. But I do need that extra mileage as much as i can also.

Did i just get a special deal for the extended battery or is that commonplace now?

That 500.00 is non-refundable a reservation for it. I think the actual cost of the extended battery is like an estimated $16,000.00

What did your timeframe say with all Season tires

It initially said June-August 2024, Adding in the Battery extender pushed it to August-September 2024 now. Oh and i did choose the Grey interior which if i change it to white, then it goes back to June-August.

Whats funny is i do not remember the extended battery saying deposit anywhere, just 500 and it said it will push out the date.. odd...

Moving away from the standard Foundation Series option will cause a later delivery. AFAIK, the ONLY thing that has been delivered so far are the standard options.

And the range from the tires, you'll eventually learn the reality of the differences.
