Version 12.5.5.3 downloaded a few days ago. I drove from Costco in Santa Cruz south to my home, ~14 miles yesterday. When I engaged it while driving It placed the left wheels in the left shoulder while entering the freeway. That was unusual. I disengaged FSD and took surface streets due to high traffic and stoppage.

I Reengaged FSD, in a few blocks it tried to run through a red light, I immediately disengaged it again. I Reengaged it a few blocks later but we approached an intersection with traffic backed up on the opposite side. The truck should have stopped clear of the intersection but instead it entered the intersection and stopped blocking all cross traffic. When traffic moved forward, it Then cleared the intersection and continued a few more blocks to a planned right turn. It missed the turn out and attempted thr right turn into an oncoming car lane, full of cars . I disengaged FSD for the last time. I won't use it again until the next update . Prior updates never demonstrated any of these problems . it's currently dangerous.

“Currently enabled features require active driver supervision and do not make the vehicle autonomous”

FSD is a software in beta. It is going to have errors as they iterate toward unsupervised. Tesla appreciates your feedback on the software. Thanks for being beta testers!

I haven't had an issues, but doesn't seem to be better in any way. I just want it to stop biasing the left hand side of lanes, which I didn't really see, but only 30 miles or so under my belt on 12.5.5.3

I agree, it is a nightmare right now. I give it a try after every update but it never last as it has so many issues. Our 2020 X does great so I’m sure they will get there. One thing I find annoying though not a safety issue is FSD will NOT do the max speed I set on the freeway/highway. No cars around me for a mile and it will not do the 5 over (or any max speed) the speed limit that I set, refuses no matter what I do. Speed it up manually to that limit and let off the throttle just to have it slow back down. If I disable FSD it keeps the speed just fine.

Odd, my ct likes the right side of the lane, and cuts every inside corner to close.
The worst part is the speed fluctuations.

I agree. Yesterday my CT tried to run a stop sign that my MY and M3 always recognized. It tried to ride the curb of a center divider the day before. So disappointed in this build.

I agree. The latest version seems to have gone backwards. My CT turned the left indicator on when approaching an intersection but never went into the left two lanes to take the turn. Stopped at the red light. I was curious to see what it does so didn’t disengage - stayed quiet when left green arrow showed up, but when green light showed up to go straight later, it attempted to take left into oncoming traffic from straight only lane. Very strange behavior that I haven’t seen so far.

Just came back form a California to Iowa and back trip. After the latest update, FSD refused to adjust to changes in speed limits, ran over lines on left side, doesn't stop when at all stop signs or red lights, will not speed up to posted speed, and warns to take control of the car when you turn off FSD. Had no issues like this on the trip out but all showed up after the update. Did bug reports, hope they fix it back to where is was previously and get better not worse. BTW still love it:)

Had two "Take over immediately" System Error issues today. One sitting idle at a light and the other while driving. No real explanation on why or what, so this version seems unstable. Also had a couple disengagements that would have taken the CT into a potential accident. Needs work for sure.

My 12.5.5.3 just ran a red light too.

300 miles on the highway, nearly perfect. 64 mph because of a rear motor but really nice FSD

With my family drive home, it nearly missed an exit. (My 17 has never.)
I’ve also noticed it would take forever to get back up to the speed limit after slowing down for grandma in front of us. . Each time. (My 17 doesn’t.)
Several different behavioral concerns with this update with the CT, with my nearly 2k miles on it for the holiday travel. And then other aspects much better than my 17, of course.
