FSD - Hurry - Fail! Knicked road sign.

Well, the Beast took a turn like a bat out of hell and knicked this road sign in Vegas. It happened so fast I didn’t even have a chance to brake or take over. It seemed to accelerate through the turn and the sign was low enough that I think I would have had a tough time avoiding it OFF of FSD.

I find that Hurry mode cuts things way too close when on side-streets but does great on the freeway. Thankfully, it didn’t cut my wrap.
I can only speculate that Standard or Chill mode wouldn’t have hit the sign — I wasn’t going to run a test, just a theory and a new strategy for me when selecting a FSD mode.

I learned to not begin FSD from WITHIN my garage because the truck leapt out like a lion charging prey and crashed the side mirror into my exterior trim on my garage door. Improvements need made!

Similar issue myself yesterday in Hurry mode.....
For the third time in a week driving on a 3 lane interstate in the far left lane at 80mph.
The route splits as the interstate becomes four lanes with the left two lanes going EB and right two lanes going NB, my route was NB, but the truck cruised along at 80mph slowly passing 79mph traffic on the right, never moved over to the right lanes and I had to reroute to get home. Last week I took over once and let the truck get lost once last week. Hurry mode needs to chill before missing exits.

yeah, we did something similar to our rear bumper (truck vs. garage). But the Xpel Armor wrap covers it up, and makes it look better!
