I love my Cybertruck and like the FSD (although I don't use it very often). The behavior that annoys me the most is the lane selection. The truck will stay in left lane rather than driving right or it won't get into the lane to exit/turn from early enough. Super annoying for what is otherwise nearly perfect. Today, while in FSD camping in the left lane, I pushed the button to turn on the directional and the truck shifted lanes. I didn't realize that I could influence the lane with the directional. I'm posting in case others were also not familiar with this trick.

Yes. Has always been the case.

I'm sure that there are many other features I'm also unfamiliar with.

Do you use hurry mode? Hurry likes to camp in the left lane. Standard usually moves over after passing.
They should rename hurry “dick mode” and chill “stoner mode”.
Better captures what to expect when you select it.

I noticed with the latest update that the truck moves over to the right if there are cars behind it close enough and after 30+seconds. That’s in hurry mode.

No need to be profane. You can just call at “Dalton” mode, it’s OK. 😆

Interesting. I am always in Standard mode and find it doesn’t move over from the passing lane even when there are vehicles following closely and I have yo signal to change lanes.

That is great. I was in hurry mode to increase speed but I standard is better fit for my driving style.

Dick mode is great to really make others dislike you quickly. Stoner mode is great to make other Dick drivers mad. And Grandma mode is great to make everyone, including yourself, annoyed.

I think stoner mode keeps my BP in check 👍

And you might not realize you can push the right hand scroll wheel left and right to change the driving mode, chill to standard, etc. I change modes depending on highway or neighborhood driving. Or if I want to stay in the right lane for an upcoming exit.

I didn’t know that. Thank you. So basically like scrolling through audio tracks on the left wheel but on the right?

You can also cancel an FSD lane change by pressing the corresponding turn signal. If FSD tries a left hand lane change, just press the left turn signal and the truck will remain in the lane.

I did not know this either. Thank you.
