I have a hitch-mounted bike rack that really messes up FSD. I understand this is an edge case and Tesla will probably deploy either an option to turn off the rear camera or build this into their models. Just wanted to discuss and present a solution that works pretty well.
Here's a view of my bike in the rear view camera.
In the attached video, you can see unlabeled vector space artifacts in the FSD visualization. This effectively causes FSD to think that someone is tailgating and makes the driving super erratic, almost cutting off other vehicles during lane changes. I was in Truckee I-80 Westbound and almost got into an accident.
Solution: I bought some aquarium suction cups (link below), covered the camera and FSD is back to normal.

The suction cups can fall off due to pressure or humidity changes. However, it only fell off once during a 2000 mile road trip. I tied a thread around the cup and anchored it to the tailgate. Problem solved.
