Left turns don't work correctly in FSD, after upgrading my Cybertruck to 2025.8.4 yesterday.

When completing a left turn, if there is a road dividing curb, the Cybertruck doesn't stay in the lane and the rear wheel hits that curb, like it didn't' steer wide enough. It happened 3 times to me today.

It is as if FSD is tuned for a smaller vehicle, like Model3,/Y/S/X and isn't built for the Cybertruck's dimensions. In the past, the cybertruck would look like it was gonna hit the curb, then makes a last second steering correction to avoid hitting it. But now it doesn't do that and happily hits the curb upon completing a left turn.

I just want to know if anyone else is noticing this also, or if it is just my vehicle.

No, it is not just yours. However, left turn lanes have been a problem for our Cybertruck since we received it in October 2024. During a left turn lane the truck does feel like it is calibrated for a smaller vehicle. The rear wheel of the truck often hits the curb. Sometimes it is a slight bump, sometimes it is more. We are delighted when it doesn’t hit the lane divider curb.

This has been an existing condition. I experience it myself. The fact is 13.2.X is not the same on CT vs other cars- for now . Look at the release notes and you will see a difference. About a controller which manages low speed / street driving. That ‘s apparently also tied to CT not having ASS or reverse out of parking spot. Nothing to do with 2025.8.5.

There was a “two weeks” rumor two weeks ago that the controller update would come to the CT.

I can’t figure out why this problem has not been corrected yet. When it has plenty of room to swing wide without being concerned about traffic on it’s right, it always want to come inches away from the curb on left turns or make quick adjustments to avoid hitting the curb or scaring motorists sitting at that left turn intersection . It needs to swing wide, like a big gate! That what my drill sergeant use to say!

During a recent trip using FSD, my CT ran up on a high curb and broke off the left rear wheel trim piece. At this point, just to be safe, I’m disengaging FSD on every left turn and reporting “I’m avoiding left turns on FSD until it’s fixed”.

We need someone to look into this seriously flawed turning action.

This issue is still persistent in the latest version that I updated last week (June-05-2025):
V12 (2025.14.9),
FSD (Supervised): V13.2.9.
My CT rear wheel ran on shoulder curb in left turn couple days ago. I am disappointed for no resolution from FSD team to this issue in a good turn around time.

Issue is still there.
version 2025.20.6
FSD: 13.2.9

This issue is related only to FSD software version. Unless another AI model finishes training and updates the FSD, this issue will persist together with many other issues reported under FSD discussion.
regular updates does not change FSD behavior.

Same problem but I haven’t hit the median. It seems like and easy fix to increase the turn radius on left turns. My more serious concern is the inability to move out far enough to see obstructed traffic coming from the left. It pulls out into oncoming traffic to often. Please someone read this and fix this problem.

I just had another incident on Friday, July-25 as shown in these two photos. On left turn, the street is clear (without any car on right lane) and the lane width is typical (not narrow); but FSD just cleared the front wheel cleanly with bad job on rear wheel (ran on street curb as in photos). Shame FSD, the following SUV probably think I don’t know how to drive a truck (without knowing that it is being driven by FSD).
