Updated my order to new wheels and grey décor, today. Wasn't able to do so through app, so I called and they did so for me.

I was actually a little concerned about keeping the white clean with a Saint Bernard.

I was able to do my switch to gray online. Curious since you spoke to them--did they say anything about the change from white to gray impacting your delivery timing? TIA.

How could they be so bad with your delivery. Black finger smudges would have sucked with either color. I sure hope my NY SC delivery tomorrow has better folks working there than yours. I already got delivered my bottle of DIY Detail interior ceramic that I plan to put on first chance I get. They did a whole video on interior and exterior treatment of the CyberTruck. I think they are a very useful watch and different than any other I have seen. Spoiler alert-no bar keepers friend lol

i will say this, I saw a video from a long time ago... like when interior vids started coming out, a few of the OG Ct's did have the grey interior, so I can't assume it's that much of a process for the line.

Yes, one of my former Crossfit friends got one of the (if not "the") first Cyberbeasts in the Houston area due to a family member working for Tesla. I got a test ride a few weeks back and was happy to not see any white interior trim . . . only to be disappointed when I looked back at my order the same day to see the white was there and not optional. Very happy to have changed and can even live with a bit of delay . . . although I wouldn't expect it for the reason you mentioned.

Yeah i chuckled a bit when the response came in. I'll give them credit for finding creative ways to tell me nothing at all.

i remember being partial to the white, at first... I am kinda glad I had the time to change my mind, especially with a big drool monster of a dog.

So if I get gray then I won’t be able to see all the dirt from delivery ? I still went with white and they did clean it up really well. Had truck for a month and white is holding its white nicely.

Just keep a packet of baby wipes in your car. They clean off the white surfaces in an instant.

Truthfully, it's my top glass and the back of my seat that suffer the most friendly fire from flying drool. I may need something a little more robust, like adult ass wipes, but this is a good tip.

Those are technically less robust, since they're designed to degrade in plumbing.

I changed, they said q3 before tactical grey starts rolling out so a few months delay(I already had a vin for awd - changed to cyber beast and at tires with tactical grey. ). Hirt a bit knowing I was getting delivery next week but I think the loss of features for the foreseeable future was just going to leave me feeling treated poorly as a customer. This at least showed they were willing to be accommodating, which for me, made a big difference how I felt about the whole purchase.
