I was offroad a few times during the Holiday breaks. Dusty roads, fine dust. I found the vault gets really dusty due to the bottom part of the tailgate has a gap to the bed floor. It's enough of a gap to make everything in the vault coated with dust. I'm thinking there should be a simple solution, kind of like the draft blockers that are used at the bottom of doors.

Anyone in Glamis CT community have an already existing solution that works?
If dust is a deal breaker, off-roading might not be for you. I would never take my CT, because I have a Jeep, but it has no roof or doors, and dust gets everywhere, but kids love it.

I keep a bunch of power tools in the bins I got from tesla and behind the cargo divider also in the gear locker and I try and keep sand out of the bed as much as I can unless it's completely empty then it doesn't matter. It's not the fine dust I'm worried about but sand in your tools with moving parts is not a good thing so I do what I can to keep it out of the bed whenever I have things in the bed. my glow whip mount not only keeps the tonneau cover closed but looks like it belongs that way. you can never crash your tonneau cover into your glow whip. and keep things from jumping out of a partially open cover. it just feels right? not to mention keep your things safe from sticky fingers or dangerous weapons from curious kids even keep the beer from your alcoholic brother-in-laws never ending thrust. let's be honest no one likes dirt and road grime on everything

anyone has an alternative method to mount a high visibility glow whip on the CT.
As in what bracket and where on the truck did you mount yours from?
I have only seen one other option that will mount to the L track.
and that one is more for a normal flag with wood or metal pole mount.
and mine the Exo-mount bracket allows full normal function of tonneau cover and tailgate.
if you have another option and you have one
please share it with us
where did you get the hardware, you used.
looking into making a second type of mount that would utilize the cross bar mounting locations
on a single cross bar mounting location side with the 2 bolts that are under the lids
and would work on any of the 8 mounting points on CTs topside.
giving you maximum whip height at the topmost 2 locations one on each side of CT that in turn results in extended visibility distance and overall visibility improvement. with my glow whips you not only make your location high visibility at longer distances but mounting one on each side at maximum height and center of the truck they will illuminate all around your truck giving you better visibility from inside the truck at night.
Let me know what you guys think about this idea?

Thank you
SSonnentag
for the trailer lights connector pin out
I will verify and test this information here in the next few days and post my findings and method for taping into the wires. but most likely will be done with these splice connectors red for the CTs smaller than usual wires. but that will also need to be tested.

Don't want to give any one bad info don't use red splice connectors too small
yellow would be the correct size to use.

We have quite a group forming. Please keep in mind, be prepared when it comes to charging, as the closest option is 13 miles away and it’s a CCS. The A2Z adapter seems to have the best feedback based on what we’ve seen here on the forum. Glamis is in for a real surprise in Feb! If you have yet to reach out for an info packet, send me a DM. See ya all in Feb!
