Yes, I did take my truck rally racing. It did well for a truck!
The problem I brought upon myself is the plastic trim around the wheels and especially below the doors are pretty eaten up. If you plan on doing what I did, you might want to invest in some PPF before you take it off road.
The stainless on the other hand is perfect! Just went through a car wash and the stainless looks really really good.
