Hello, I’ve been checking the website for a Free supercharging deal and non available until 5 min ago one popped up. I was shocked and just pushed the button and paid the $250 and already have a VIN. Question: i charge at home everynight but I do a lot of traveling as I have 55k miles on my current FS AWD.
With normal road travel, is it safe to assume the Free supercharging is for life? It just says Free Supercharging on the order. Thanks.

Yes. I was checking daily because it’s still on the header of the website. Ironically I checked all areas and one just popped up in my own backyard ?. Didn’t really need a beast but I wanted the free SC so that’s fine.

Yes it is for life but i have heard if it is "Abused" they cancel the deal. I have not heard of anyone losing that deal. I wish I had free supercharging, headed to FL the end of this week, towing a camper.

The specific wording on the Learn More button says:

Customers who purchase a new Cybertruck Foundation Series are eligible for free Supercharging during your ownership of the vehicle. Order must be placed on or after February 28, 2025. Offer is tied to your Tesla Account and cannot be transferred to another vehicle, person or order, even in the case of ownership transfer. Used vehicles, business orders and vehicles used for commercial purposes (like taxi, rideshare and delivery services) are excluded from this promotion. You are still responsible for Supercharger fees, like idle and congestion fees, when applicable. Order is not eligible for Powershare voucher. Tesla reserves the right in its sole discretion to remove the free Supercharging from your vehicle in the event of excessive charging or unpaid fees related to Supercharging. Free Supercharging only redeemable directly at Tesla-owned Superchargers. Promotion subject to change or end at any time.
I think they'll mostly notice if your supercharging and mileage vary wildly, such as your charging to full and driving fewer miles because you're powering a house or something.

I think it is a great idea. Even though I charge at home I travel many times 100/150 miles one way and knowing I had no expense for charging would just leave the house with less charge so upon arrival could “top up”. It would add up quickly for me.

I imagine that supercharging every day and sending the energy into your house later on in the day (perhaps by using the new PowerShare tripping ability!) would eventually qualify as “abuse”…

Yep, love having it. I think the big thing they are warning about is any abuse where you are not using the supercharger energy for miles. Powering your house would be a big no no other than emergencies. I'd guess powering a travel trailer 100% of the time while towing it around would be a gray area but also likely to fall into the mileage/kwh offset that flags you. Debatable Towing all the time might also get you into trouble I'd guess.

I’ve yet to meet one person that actually had their free supercharging revoked including the original FUSC.

I asked this question to sales (not Tesla legal) last week and gave one hypothetical of my own: charging daily to then power my house with no real millage gained on the truck. He agreed that would certainly be abuse and added his own example: charging to 100% 3x per day for Uber driving. Not sure I agree with the second example because I feel like as long as the millage is accruing on the truck you could use the free charging and how would they distinguish use type ?‍♂. Either way I don't have to worry because I won't be trying either example. We drive about 400 miles per week away from home so it's a nice perk for us.

It would be very harmful to Teslas “ultimate demand lever” free supercharging strategy If they started nickel and diming such a small population of car owners and made this benefit “conditional”.
It costs them very little even if this tiny group of customers abuses the shit out of the benefit.
I don’t see them doing that. Very costly publicity.

Anybody know roughly how many free SC Cybertrucks they sold?
they have a little more abuse potential than x and S is why I ask.
