I would exchange lifetime FSD for lifetime supercharging, but I also expect nothing, because Tesla has already delivered exactly what I ordered. Why would they give me more?

The people who should be upset are the ones who didn't get their lightbars yet, they didn't get what they ordered. This seems like a shrinking crowd though.

I waited 4-1/2 years after first putting a reservation and ordered it as soon as I could. Got my first Cyberbeast June 2024. Would I have waited a year had I known I could get free supercharging? IDK, hindsight hard to tell. All I know for sure is when the incentives to sell remaining FS trucks came with free supercharging and 0% financing, I bought a second Beast. Do I feel cheated because I have to pay for SC with the first one? Well maybe a little but I also realize this is what Tesla has a history of doing, offering deals after some time. It's all good, I use the first one for around town or trips where I can get there and back home on one charge and then charge off our solar. The second one is for road trips.

How many of us are there?
IMO we need to pressure Tesla for the perks they gave as demand dropped. I understand we will still be out a ton of money since Tesla dropped the price, lowering resale. But maybe we can get connectivity and supercharging.

Maybe trade in my still on order lightbar?
Caveat emptor? Fact is ... we had no idea our trucks would morph into CyberFLOPS ... especially during the insane profit made by some who flipped them in the early days. I wonder if there has been any vehicle in history that was rare and SO ANTICIPATED and valued at first ... only to flop in the market miserably. Still ... I love my Cybertruck and it has nothing to do with brand loyalty. If a meteor impact destroyed it ... I would only want another Cybertruck as a replacement. Unless, of course, an 8 seat self-driving CyberSUV with an honest 1500 mile range was available.

Didn’t all foundations come with lifetime premium connectivity? That was a perk day one.

Supercharging was an extra incentive that came later when non foundations started coming out.
yes, not sure why someone didnt get it.

Tesla doesn't owe anyone anything that wasn't available at the time of purchase.

I read a lot of comments that if people knew that they would've offered free SC they would've waited to order and they feel they got ripped off.

I know that everyone values things differently, but this got me thinking...

Serious question- What is free SC worth to you? $5k, $10k, $15k? Again, I believe the answer to this is different for everyone, but most would probably fall in the $5-$7k range.

I think it's safe to say that just about everyone knew that once the FS ended the price would drop $20k. But it seems most aren't upset about not waiting approx. a year to save UP TO $20k. They're more upset that they didn't wait ~1 year for the free supercharing. That's interesting.

Yes, I know there are differences with FS vs. "regular".

I usually like his content. Man did he flip flop on the CT. Originally his review was “it’s just plain cool!”.

Now that he’s afraid of being cancelled, it’s “this is knock knock knocking on the door of the 30’s!!”

That’s fine as it’s good material, but then his colleague says something like “that’s a capable vehicle for $35k” and Doug totally dismisses him: “capable of WHAT!?”

If this somehow drops to 35k in a year, I’ll buy a couple extra.

Please drop, I really want one (for the past 6 years).

I knew what I was getting when I purchased my beast. As for the light bar, for some reason, my local service center did not have me down for receiving one. I asked about it when I took it in for one of the recall items. When they found out should have been on the list for one, they ordered it. It’s now been installed and I’m very happy with how it looks and works.

Foundation- ordered online during the 2019 launch. Used my $2500 for the PowerShare. My PowerShare is still in the box - tried to install it at my house before all the rebates went away at the end of '25 and was told that it "might" work but not quite yet. Sigh... I also put a downpayment on a power wall which never arrived and never got the promised refund. .... Sigh....

Only 21K miles on CT so far but I would love to have free supercharging thanks.... (I've got free supercharging on the 2024 S and the 2016 S with over 170K miles- yes I've drunk the koolaid)

I’m upset about it because I live in my truck with the Cybercamper and I exclusively use supercharging. It’s costs me about $300 a month. That’s $3600 a year I could have been saving if I had the free supercharging. so I absolutely would have waited. However, I have no regrets about getting my FS when I did (July 2024) and I’m not gonna complain to Tesla because I got what I paid for. Would totally trade in free FSD for free supercharging tho. I never use the FSD anyway.

I have no idea who this is but with the $59,990 trim coming out, and they become one year old it looks like he's going to be close if not 100% correct.
