I’m surprised the feedback loops in the current FSD don’t “learn” how to drive any configuration when the system is doing the initial calibration. This issue must be a factor when Tesla is trying to sell their FSD to other manufacturers. When I got my VIN, I had to approve new terms about Tesla Vision. Tesla Vision is built to recognize the environment and it certainly can’t need much change when moving from vehicle to vehicle. It seems if you know what the environment looks like through Tesla Vision, it shouldn’t be hard to know where to go. In the Munro tear down video, he backed into a wall and damaged his CT. It is concerning to me the CT will not have backup alarms initially. Particularly in a vehicle with so little visibility.
