True, their subscriptions peaked in 2019, but they have only fallen by about 5% since then; it’s nothing like the collapse of cable TV. They still have two big advantages for in-vehicle audio.Funny that SpaceX just launched SXM-9 this week though. I do feel like SXM is a dead man walking.

The advantage to satellite radio is that it works everywhere. Streaming doesn't. The fact that Tesla doesn't offer a satellite radio option for the CT suggests that they don't really expect it to be driven in the boondocks.
There is probably a way to buy a satellite radio and antenna from SiriusXM, and then install that hardware in a CT. Not as elegant as a factory-installed radio, but probably another way to get SiriusXM service.
