Sprinkler/irrigation control wire is a pretty good way to get quality 18/4, 18/5, and 18/7 cable locally. Sold at any home depot. Direct burial and UV outdoor rated as a bonus. Thermostat wire is another option if you need something a bit thinner and for indoor use only.
I've used sprinkler...
The SiriusXM app for the 3/Y/CT will operate over the cellular connection like a streaming service. They do not have an actual XM antenna for "satellite" radio. Only the S and X have the actual satellite antenna...for now.
We installed a 24k BTU mini-split heat pump in our garage and had the attic filled with some blown-in cellulose insulation. Total cost for the heat pump + insulation was around $3k, granted everything was in ideal locations for a simple install. The walls were already minimally insulated...1"...
We had a X and Y and traded the Y for the CT. No regrets. The CT is easily the best Tesla to date, in terms of ride, fit and finish etc. Our main garage is very oddly proportioned...it's like a 2.75 width and 2 cars deep for half of it, like an L shape. The smaller .75 side is basically unusable...
Is your model 3 a standard range? The standard range Model 3 charges at 32A. The Cybertruck and long range cars charge at 48A.
If you were running fully off the powerwalls, and they were powerwall 2s...that's enough to overload them. Turn down your charge current.
I guess there’s perceived resale value and the possibility of minor enhancements for 2025 builds. Totally subjective. I didn’t want to risk my FSD transfer either so I gladly took a 2024.
They have been known to do that, so you’ll want to do a thorough inspection. You can also outright ask them. They can’t lie to you, that would be fraud.
That being said, the benign explanation of a canceled order or excess inventory is much more likely. There is some small upside. You get the...
The instructions shared here worked for me, and do not require recalibration.

Not sure I buy this. I’ve had many Teslas over the past 8 years and nowhere near the number of functional/serious issues compared to traditional manufacturers, by a huge margin (like at least 5:1). This is reflective of maybe 2013-2016 era Tesla. 2017+ was revolutionary. 2nd hand experience from...
If you're not in a rush and not doing FSD transfer and risking that offer expiring...really no harm in waiting. If anything, you're more likely to run into aggressive end-of-quarter discounts or promotions.
In my opinion, anything that needs invasive repairs. If you think there’s a chance that it won’t be fixed 100%, or other things will get damaged during the repair, or it’ll be months of repeated service appointments…just reject it. Any body work beyond a minor sanding/buffing, major electrical...
Better having them liable for transport than you :) I think it’s worth it. Don’t be afraid to assert yourself if anything happens, and make sure they get you a new one vs. convincing you to deal with months of repairs.
My fit and finish was also top notch. Agreed the best I’ve seen from Tesla to date. My issue was transit damage and the myriad of communication failures that followed.
