So it sounds as it drives like many drivers do. We know it doesn't drive like you, because you always drive correctly.Well, having put some more miles on my FSD CT, I am convinced of the following.
Reading the signs and pulling from a speed limit database is a tug of war. On almost every drive, it gets the speed limit wrong on certain roads.
If I let it totally choose the speed, it is all over the place ... too fast and too slow.
If it is set to go by my setting, it does catch the lower speeds and slows quickly but speeding back up is a crap shoot.
It rolls up way to fast on cars stopped at a red light and uses the brake.
It wait too late to get into the correct lane for an upcoming turn.
It does signal now BEFORE it starts slowing for a turn ...
Just not ready for primetime here in VA. I am sure that roads that have more data allow it to work better.
I do NOT see any real difference between our Y and CT both with HW4.

But the part that you seem to be missing is that it indeed seems to be doing a decent job driving by itself. It just needs a little work on speed control.
And FYI, speed control and FSD steering control are two very different things. The new speed control is only a few months old at this point.
