Kids found 110v outlet under rear screen. For what?? Coffee maker?
According to option I need to turn on outlet, which uses battery pack juice?
I can't believe NO normal usb-c outlet in entire car?? The kids are upset.
And no free streaming. Have to be member of something. Back seat is NOT 10 year friendly. This has to be fixed, now.

I'm going to assume you are just joking. No one can be this ridiculous, but just in case.

All phones (Apple, Android, all of them) now ship with USB-C. It's the global standard. Why would Tesla not use that? USB-C can transfer more power, faster, and are reversable. Using just USB-A would be like having a Lightning adapter in the truck.

There are USB-C chords to everything, they cost less than $10. All companies are switching to USB-C. All Teslas have USB-C, too...again, because it's the standard.

Are you really complaining about a 120v plug? You can plug phones, tablets, devices, laptops into that.

Youtube, Twitch, and Tick Tock are free. The premium streaming services require subscriptions.

My VIN is earlier than yours, they all have 4 in the Truck.

Are you 100 years old?

Buy an $8 cable and be done with it...or bring your existing cable and brick. You have multiple options.

You are joking about this, right?
I hope he is . . Haha because I’m ?

So I buy a cord with 2 android ends?
One apple with both?

Your S is old and has outdated plugs. They aren't "android ends", it's what Apple and Android uses now called USB-C. Every company uses them for the last few years and moving forward due to the EU.

All vehicles are now shipping with them because they are the standard....again.

If you have Netflix or Disney + or Hulu at home you can login to the truck with that account. It will save your login.

Tesla went to USB-C with the refresh MS/X and now all cars have them. If you get a new phone (from anyone) it will also have a USB C to USB C cable.

Apple has been using USB-C for supplies for like, a decade. It's the end at the phone or device that lingered because the waterproof usb-c standard was more expensive.

Even so, I prefer the magsafe or induction because they're zero insertion force ports.

just get an appropriate cable eg
....
What I have not seen mentioned in this thread is the reason for "just a cable"...

The USB-C standard permits handshaking and selection of voltage required by the device. That's done in the cable, so it's possible some older USBC cables would be "dumb" and not work. Also note that a 5v wall pack connected to a USB-c to USB-C cable will not magically jump the voltage to 12v. But the car supplies 48v, so the modern cables should always reduce that to 12v and be good to go.
