This is true, but my RN is so high, I will be late 2026/2027… based on the number of people passing on FS and waiting for non-FS, it will take a long while to get through the list to get back to me… waiting over 2 years more over $300ish extra a month that i am budgeted for..
Hence my shift of mind that it is worth grabbing the FS with FSD at its price (as it will be much different in 2 years I have a gut feeling).

The only pause of the FS is some of. The early adopter issues… but a lot of people aren’t experiencing them and are loving their truck

I feel this is accurate but with that said I still don’t see Non FS trucks being delivered before 2026

The real question is what is the pool of $72k/$100k buyers? If there's 50k of them, then everyone should wait. If there's 500k of them, this gets interesting.

If you're over one millionth in line and can get a FS or get back in line for regular pricing, that's a big difference. If anything, it seems like FS may most benefit later reservation holders who want to spend FS money. Late reservations can go FS and get one this summer, or hold out for non-FS and get one in 18-24 months.

This is me! May 2022 reservation (RN 1173xxx).. so about 1.4m in line (minus people who cancelled long ago). I would be waiting till 2026 probably at least regardless for non-FS… but this could jump me to this year ??.. and for only $300 more monthly car payment which after we sell/payoff and what not will be totally worth it.. especially since I need a truck sooner than later to where that extra money is worth it.

Wife seemed to be on board with the plan if indeed FS comes to my RN
