I reserved the dual motor cyber tuck. I got the e-mail to order it but it is only for the foundation or cyber beast. They want $94,000 for the foundation and $114,000 for the cyber beast and even if it comes down to the lower price of $78,000 I can't afford that. I reserved a $50,000 tuck and that was the top of my budget so I will never be able to get one now.

So does anyone know of a way to sell this to someone who would like to get the truck now? I would like to use the money to help me get a Model Y.

First, the prices you're quoting isn't the purchase price, but the net cost of ownership compared to an ICE powered vehicle.

Secondly, no, you cannot transfer your account or your reservation.

You can, however, leave your reservation open until a vehicle in your price range is available. This is what I'm doing.

And hopefully, after years, your budget will have gone up. Median wages have increased more than inflation the last five years.

You put down $100 for the reservation and you can get that back and put it toward a Model Y. The Model Y prices have dropped a lot since 2019 so maybe that is the way to go for you. I have a Model Y and it is a great car; it just is too 'dainty' for me. I throw things into my car as though it were a truck so I might as well have a truck.

That is most likely what I will end up doing. I would have preferred the truck but we took a Model Y for a ride today it is a nice car.

Model Y, while obviously not a truck, is a versatile option. Sept 2023 I traded in my 2018 Model 3 for a Model Y, to hold me over for Cybertruck.

As mentioned above by @Crissa holding on to your Cybertruck reservation costs little but gives you a lot of flexibility in the future. I'd say $100 well spent to have a place in line.
