Any vehicle will have the same problem. I think it is exaggerated by the slope of the windshield. In my experience, it never completely goes away (makes you wonder what we are breathing). You notice it more when it is colder and you are defrosting the windshield.

Just saw your name "flyinglow"...... helicopters flying low Is no thrill compared to 500 kts at 50ft agl..........hahahaha......flew A6E and F4J's........A6 was so much fun in low altitude flying.....it could out perform F4s from sea -level 1,000......one of the most feared aircraft we had at the time and the Russians hated it....because of its all-weather capabilities...... An old saying about the A6's.......they can penetrate deeper, linger longer and drop a bigger load.......( load 2nd only to the then B52s......A6 can carry 28- 500 lbs bombs or 3 nuclear weapons and 2-drop tanks.......stay safe and keep flying if you still do

I found out the haze on the inside of the windshield is the result of the plastics in the dashboard off-gassing and sticking to the windshield, according to my tint professional. I noticed the haze would return one or two days after I cleaned the windshield so I asked. He said it will subside over time. It's common for dashboards and carpet in new cars to off-gas as the they heat up. His recommendation is a spray bottle containing purified water with 4-5 drops of baby shampoo. It's what they use to clean windows before a tint and what they use to lubricate and set the tint material.

I did not tint the windshield yet ($1200 was his quote for 3M Ceramic) but he said the solution works whether your windows are tinted or not. I made the solution and put it in a glass spray bottle from Target to keep in the CT. He's right; it works. It also doesn't evaporate too fast like Windex and any drips on the dash won't discolor anything because it's basically water.

Shop around for that tint quote. I got quotes from $600 - $1800! It is feeling like that some shops see $$$ and over charge you for the value.

Just discovered a very easy no-purchase-necessary (for most) option to clean interior of windshield. Take a normal broom with stiff bristles and wrap a microfiber. It doesn’t get all the way to the end but will get within 2-3”.

stiff bristles necessary to hold the microfiber cloth in place. Otherwise I guess a rubber band, clip, etc will suffice.
