How is this different from the FSD we got with the Foundation Series?

I dont think it is, I just think they will get to test new features before they get rolled out to the rest of us.
Ahhh, that makes sense. The truck is just too fun to drive so we don’t use FSD much. Probably won’t sign up for this.

Nope, I haven't gotten the invite yet.

What irks me with how Tesla does the FSD software updates and now this early access enrollment is: they don't prioritize people have have owned and been using FSD for several years. I purchased FSD in 2020 and started testing FSD Beta in October 2021 (with my Model Y). You'd think they'd invite me.

Oh, and I'm in the greater Boston area with monthly trips into downtown Boston (using FSD), so I'd think they'd want my data given our ridiculously crazy streets / roads.

I've been in the EAP for FSD with my Model 3 for 6 years now I think, but that doesn't mean I get to do the same with the Cybertruck. As others have pointed out, they are starting in Texas for some reason, probably because if they accidentally brick all of the Cybertrucks with a defective update it won't be too far to tow them all to the factory, melt them down and start again... ;)

Looks like release notes are now watermarked with your VIN when enrolled. Guessing to keep folks from posting EA features screenshots.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried changing their address in app to a Texas address, or does the vehicle, itself, have to be in Texas. I would be interested to try this experiment.

FYI- I just changed it to my old Texas address. I don't expect this to work, but- I'll report back if anything changes. I also don't expect it would be pushed any time soon anyways. But, why not give it a shot?

FOR SCIENCE!!!

As someone who was in EA for years, in the first group. Know that many of the early builds are rough and can be dangerous. You have to extra vigilant. The builds that most see are typically the 2nd or 3rd major revision and there are multiple bug fixes in between those.

There was one update in V12 that was halted immediately because it wasn't stopping at any redlight.
