Just for everyone information, Miami Garden said that the day they receive the truck they will clean it and get it ready for delivery the next day

The least expensive insurance will vary depending upon location, driver history, age, sex, your home neighborhood, how many miles you drive, etc. The list is really endless and the only way to find out who is cheaper is to get a quote from multiple insurers (since it varies from person to person so much).

If you are a good driver, Tesla Insurance might offer a significantly better value. Worth checking out.

I picked up my AWD Cybertruck in west Palm beach, Fl. Here’s my timeline in case anyone was interested. Also, I went with Allstate since Geico said (on the phone with rep) they weren’t covering cybertrucks, but apparently others were able to get Geico.



11/21/2029 - reservation made on the night of the unveiling

12/15/2023 - Ordered on app (prior to reserving email)

1/13/2024 - received vin and set up insurance with Allstate

1/30/2024 - received phone call for delivery/pick up appointment… this was a Tuesday and I had the option for the next day (Wednesday) or Friday, Saturday, Sunday but not Thursday… so we picked it up Friday February 2, 2024

2/2/204 - picked up cybertruck

Hey Guys just received my VIN this AM they requested proof of insurance I took Geico cost is $210 per month.
Waiting to make final payments does anyone here know how long it will take to get delivery ?

It looks like Florida is getting all the 12/21 VIN love. Congratulations to everyone. Now to get back to refreshing the app and my email every 5 minutes. ?

I don't know if it helps anyone trying to figure out how long between RNs...

....but my RN is 112837057 and I was asked to configure on Jan 18.

Can anyone else confirm about 4 weeks for ~6000 RNs?

No Tesla insurance unfortunately in FL

Wow! It looks like the State regulators in the Florida insurance industry are making Tesla jump through all kinds of hoops just to be approved to insure people. They intended to offer insurance as soon as 2022 but the state keeps pushing back.

Tesla Insurance in Florida gets delayed, but will be released with new version of Safety Score - Drive Tesla (driveteslacanada.ca)

I guess the pushback against Tesla is not limited to direct selling without dealerships, safety features like FSD, or battery energy storage. Insurance is a big money business and fresh competition dillutes the value of the established status quo.

Thanks for sharing. That is interesting. I didn’t realize 12/21 had more orders than any other day. I may not be getting a vin as quickly as I thought lol.

Well it did outside of the first two days which I removed from this chart because there were so many, and because it was largely only CA and TX.

I see you have the option of making your final payment. Did you choose to pay cash? The only reason I ask is I was approved for my loan (putting 20% down), but It currently shows, "You'll be notified when your final payment is available for review". I want to ensure this is not a technical glitch delaying my delivery.

Since FS Dual is the only one to be delivered thus far, can you trim this data to exclude Beasts?

I am in AZ and hoping we are the next state to see trucks, Washington has more orders, but logistically might be out of reach.... Seems like they will do a swell based on Geo outwards from TX and CA.

I didn’t do the payment because I am using a cashier check, the payment won’t affect your delivery, you will receive your notification for delivery no matter what payment you are using.
